Garden Sketchbook
While traveling the Languedoc Roussillon region of France in the Summer of 2018, I started drawing flowers from observation in a little travel sketchbook. With only a few primary colors of ink and gouache, I focused on form and let the colors roam. Pictures of flowers can easily be cliche, but I didn’t care because it was exciting to work with materials again after so long.
